A FRESH batch of news from Birmingham has gone online once again - only this time it's headlines from Victorian times which are being featured on the world wide web.

Millions of pages of murder, politics and intrigue has been made available on the internet thanks to a new service from the British Library. They include the very first edition of The Birmingham Daily Post printed in 1857, the forerunner to today's Birmingham Post and Mail.
