MICHAEL Jackson fans - many of them dressed as their hero - paid tribute to the legend's talents during an electrifying show at the Alexandra Theatre.

They sang, danced and re-lived their memories of the superstar, swept along by the very best of his music. Some of the fans had bought tickets to Jackson's This Is It tour which he was scheduled to perform at the O2 Arena next week. Others had unsuccessfully entered the ballot for one of the 17,000 online tickets to Jackson's memorial ceremony in Los Angeles today.
