IT'S been one step forward, two steps back in the Bailey household.

Mid-week I dropped in at Birchfield Harriers Athletic Club. They've offered Jess and me support in our final training weeks - and what better if we're to notch up those miles in time for April? They could not have been friendlier and more positive, with press officer and coach Dave Newnan recommending I see the club physiotherapist about my ankle - still swollen after my ten-mile trot two Sundays ago.
