TAMWORTH'S terrific early season form took the Lambs to new heights last night when they climbed to fifth place in the Blue Square Premier after pulling off a 2-1 win at rock-bottom Chester City.

Richard Tait put the Lambs ahead after 37 minutes before Chris Smith increased the advantage just before the hour mark. Nick Chadwick clawed a goal back for Chester with 13 minutes remaining but Gary Mills' men weathered an anxious finish to take the points.
