ELEANOR Simmonds was among six British gold medal winners as she claimed her third title at the IPC Swimming European Championships in Iceland.
As well as Simmonds, Heather Frederiksen, Stephanie Millward, Robert Welbourn, Sascha Kindred and Daniel Pepper also topped the podium in Reykjavik. The Walsall youngster claimed victory in the SM6 200m individual medley just ahead of team-mate Natalie Jones in a new world record of 3mins 11.82 seconds, with Jones also dipping under the old world mark in 3mins 12.09secs.See the full content of this document
