YOUNGSTERS at a Birmingham school have been learning about life in Sierra Leone - from their counterparts in the African nation. Children at George Dixon Junior and Infant School in Harborne have spent six months studying Sierra Leone with lessons taking in history, maths, literacy, art, music, dance and geography.

The Freedom Town project has seen them working with professionals to create their own song and dance routines which were then performed at Birmingham Symphony Hall.
