SANTA helped open new platforms during a family fun day at Moor Street Sation on Saturday.
Passengers were invited on a free 40-minute ride from the newly opened platform 4 on a Santa Express and also had the chance to see a real steam engine on platform 3. The opening of platforms 3 and 4 at Moor Street station marks the completion of the regeneration of the station. Chiltern Railways has spent pounds 14 million on the Moor Street platform project and pounds 25 million regenerating the entire station Ian Baxter, General Manager North of Chiltern Railways, said: "Opening our new platforms around this festive time of year, we thought what better way to celebrate than by giving the whole family a Christmas celebration."See the full content of this document
