ROBERTO Di Matteo is looking forward to the challenge of working within the new homegrown quota regulations. From next season all Premier League clubs must include eight out of a squad of 25.

Home-grown players are defined as anyone who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club in England or Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday.
