Summary
A YEAR or so ago Labour had just selected Ed Miliband as leader of the party. This was a drawn-out process that probably did more damage than good. Locally in Birmingham we know how to elect Labour's leaders. Swiftly with Albert Bore always winning.
This year with the party conference in Liverpool the mood of delegates is much more upbeat as Labour is a more settled party under Miliband. This time Labour's numerous party activists have not been engaged in ensuring their man or woman becomes leader.
