Summary
OVER 340 miles and 40lbs of bananas later, a wornout team of surgeons from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital are celebrating the end of a mammoth fundraising cycle to Belgium. The group of 12, who work with military patients at the Birmingham hospital, cycled to the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres, which is dedicated to the memory of over 54,000 soldiers killed in the Ypres Salient in World War One and whose graves are unknown.
So far their efforts have raised more than pounds 9,300 for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity.See the full content of this document
