Max Martin, aged 11, and Stefan Gnyla, 10, took on the mighty Peter McEvoy, one of the world's greatest amateur players since the war - and beat him! The nine-hole match took place at Copt Heath - McEvoy's home club - where the lads are the stars of a very lively junior section and it came about at the behest of an 88-year-old member, Geoff Francis.
