FORMER Wolves captain Paul Ince believes Mick McCarthy's men have a better chance of retaining their Premier League status than the side he led in the top flight six years ago.

Ince, who was speaking after his MK Dons side beat McCarthy's Wolves 1-0 in a friendly last night, is still smarting after what he believes was a lack of investment that resulted in instant relegation, but he doesn't believe the same fate will befall this Wolves side.
