CHECKING YOUR ROOF Assessing your roof for wear and tear does not necessarily require you to climb up on to the roof itself. A much safer way is to take a pair of binoculars and stand at the end of your garden and scan the roof from a distance. This will ensure that if it completely breaks you are not left with dangerous shards of glass all over the floor.
