A NEW form of children's party is set to blossom this summer, while also 'growing' funds for a Birmingham charity.

The 'grow your own' parties will involve youngsters getting their hands dirty producing their own food. And the hands-on entertainment, devised by online firm Urban Allotments in Sutton Coldfield, will also provide a welcome boost for the city's Acorns Children's Hospice, with part of the proceeds of each party order being donated to the charity.
