MORE than 18,000 furious rail passengers have delivered a resounding "no" to plans by the operator London Midland to shut ticket offices, including five in Birmingham.
The operator wants to close booths at Witton, Small Heath, Jewellery Quarter, Adderley Park and Duddeston stations to save money. Opening hours at dozens more would be slashed and passengers would be expected to buy tickets from a machine.See the full content of this document
