HUNDREDS of homeless people will receive a welcome respite from the cold city streets over the festive period thanks to a Birmingham voluntary group. Birmingham Christmas Shelter aims to provide shelter and a warm family environment for homeless people of all ages and backgrounds at a time when they need it most.
