THE CREDIT crunch is hitting motorists so hard that more than half would now struggle to pay for repairs if their car broke down, according to research from insurance specialist, Warranty Direct.
As the recession continues, 53 per cent of drivers admit that the tightening of belts means they can ill-afford the average repair bill of pounds 273. But according to Warranty Direct's data, one in three drivers will suffer a mechanical failure annually.See the full content of this document
