A MIDLAND sports club has received a much-needed cash injection as part of a flagship funding programme.
Stourport Boat Club, in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, is among the first clubs in the UK to receive cash under British Rowing's Explore Rowing scheme. Club members raised pounds 12,500 themselves which BR match-funded to help the group pay for new boats and equipment.
