Bestofthebunch - Salvia

Summary

THE deep purples and blues of these wonderful hardy perennials can create a focal point in borders or informal areas of the garden.

The plants, which grow to around 60cm (2ft), produce wonderful spikes of colour and their flowers attract bees and butterflies. They thrive in all reasonable garden soils in sun or light shade, although they vary in winter hardiness and length of flowering time.
